Pontiac, Mich. (WXYZ) – Executives for one of the motion picture studios planned for the Detroit area are showing off the beginnings of their facility.

The Motown Motion Picture Studios will be built on the site of the old General Building in Pontiac. The facility will be home to over 3,000 jobs when it opens. Once the studio opens, training will be provided for those hired.

Plans are still be finalized for how workers will be hired. The studio is working on a website that will be used to apply for the jobs. It will be launched later this summer. Contact information is already online, and executives say they are accepting resumes.
