  • In 2007, there were only 2 Features filmed in Michigan.  In April, 2008 Michigan launched its 42% Refundable Tax Credit Film Incentive. From April to December, 2008, over 70 new productions have been completed or under way.    

  • By the year 2010, it is estimated that there will be nearly $600 million in Film, Professional Services, Editing and Associated Projects scheduled for the State of Michigan, according to the State Film Office estimates.
