FilmEmerge is a Michigan based motion picture production services company with offices in Los Angeles and Detroit.


Our industry leading online movie production resource and industry directory supports film, television, video, live event and digital media production. The online web portal service helps as a tool for locating film, motion picture production products, equipment, services and professionals--helps in bridging the gap from traditional Hollywood Studio resources to areas of the country that is based on sets and locations for filming.


Our areas of speciality are preproduction marketing, production support, equity/film funding placement, animation services, and crew placement.


FilmEmerge has supported the film industry in productions such as - Polar Express, Narnia, Life of Bees, Rocky Balboa, and others.  Our membership directory has supplimented productions for movies such as - Gran Torino, Whip It, Transformers, Up In The Air, Gifted Hands, and many others.


As the film industy and movie production evolves, FilmEmerge will continue to adopt new technologies, embrace new standards and create new services to facilitate the demand.

About The FilmEmerge Foundation

The FilmEmerge Foundation, a Michigan 501c3 non-profit, assisting deserving students in scholarship programs for accredited film schools and theater arts programs.

The FilmEmerge Foundation is raising awareness towards the homeless, and raising funds for it's Movies For Shelters Program.

The Movies For Shelters Program, provides homeless shelters with spiritual, positive, and uplifting films.  By bringing together local communities and volunteers, the Foundation will host movie showings with an uplifting and inspirational theme to homeless shelters, churches, schools, or to other non-profit organizations.

Jonathan Rayos  | CEO | Founding Partner

For over 15 years, Jonathan was a technical consultant for business enterprise application development, and corporate eLearning applications to Fortune 500 companies included Chrysler, GM, Motorola, Lockheed-Martin, Domino's, Kellogg, Sony and Disney.
 
His leadership presides as the President and Executive Director of the FilmEmerge Foundation - a 501c3 non-profit organization, with a focus on philantropy from the motion picture industry and collaboration from other charitable foundations.

In addition, he presides over Soyar Capital Resources, which provides private placement, film financing and venture capital through professional trusts and privately held funds.

As a serial entrepreneur, he is a managing partner and on the Board of Directors for (EO)2 Mounting Systems - a patent pending multi-industrial hybrid fastening system.

He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Walsh College; MBA candidate at Michigan State University's Broad School of Business.

Jonathan grew up in metropolitan Detroit; currently resides in Bloomfield Hills, MI. He is an avid scratch golfer, enjoys competitive cycling and the outdoors.
Jason Waterman | CTO | Co-Founder

Jason has been involved with movie web-marketing since 2005 having worked on the development of the official movie resource websites for numerous Hollywood productions including: The Chronicles of Narnia, Expelled, Rocky Balboa, Polar Express and The Secret Life of Bees.

He has been involved in technology and software professionally for over 15 years. Prior to launching FilmEmerge, Jason was the Principal at the software consultancy Waterman International. In addition, he also spent several years working in Europe as a senior technology manager for Siemens AG.

Jason has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and studied Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan and is currently residing in Los Angeles, California where he enjoys participating in numerous outdoor activities including biking, running, and hiking.
Scott Paul Dunham I Creative Alliance Director

Scott has worked in the digital media arts community for over 22 years. Over the years, he has launched numerous projects to promote our creative community and encourage Michigan talent, including the Creative Energy Alliance, the SEMAFX Network, the Creative Energy TechFair, Imagination Exchange, Harmonie Talent Development and the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival.

His diverse background includes illustration, video production, animation, visual effects, graphic design, writing and marketing. He has also been a theatre actor, singer and improv comic.

He was recognized by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation(MEDC) as one of four Michiganders who have shown their dedication to promoting the state and its people.

Scott attended Lansing Community College and Central Michigan and currently lives in Grosse Pointe Park with his amazing wife and two energetic sons.
Becky Rogers VP of Marketing

Becky started her career into the secondary education field, after attending Ball State University, with studies in Secondary Education.

As a mother of three, she transitioned into the mortgage banking practice, and also practiced as a licensed real estate agent for the state of Indiana.

She has managed multi-state territories for a leading insurance restoration company, providing a proprietary patented process for garment, and materials restoration, servicing insurance companies such as State Farm, Farmers, and Allstate.

Her background in marketing, education, and management, provides FilmEmerge Foundation the needed leadership for her role as Secretary.

Becky grew up in Indiana, and currently divides her time between Metro-Detroit and Fort Wayne, Indiana. She enjoys cycling, outdoor activities, and travel.
